Happened to run into this amazing cafe as we were exiting Boboli Gardens, and what an unexpected surprise. The atmosphere, service by Mani, and music were top-notch, coupled with the delicious iced latte, pear juice, and porchetta crostini. I wish we were hungry enough to have a tiramisu because I'm regretting that we didn't! What's a great find! They have an extensive menu comprised of salads, sandwiches, lasagne and crostini at very reasonable prices! Enjoy!- Group size

I loved my experience at this place, the food was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Thanks to other reviews here on Google, I knew what I wanted to get so all I needed to do was to show screenshots of the dish to the staff.
The customers were mix of tourists and locals. The atmosphere was very laid back and friendly, which I really appreciated as some areas in Florence can be a little hectic at a time.
I enjoyed the food so much and I regret not getting tiramisu. It was nice to be able to have a nice healthy meal at such a reasonable price while on holiday. Everything tasted very fresh and it was simple yet extremely delicious.
Also, it really is so nice of them to sell a 1.5l of cold bottled water for €1.50 as well (I paid the same price at a supermarket). I was so thirsty after walking around all day and couldn’t be more grateful for it. They even gave us two glasses to share the bottle. Very kind.
It was €21 for the salad and BIG bruschetta with a bottle of water. We were very full. I definitely recommend trying out this place at least once you’re in Florence!- Prezzo a persona

A must visit spot in Florence, their coffee is so genuine and these people of a family business are phenomenal, professional, quick and attentive. Prices are very reasonable and way cheaper than those in the market. I came back this year to visit Florence and headed right away to them for my coffee. Love this place.

Fantastic food. Excellent value and extremely generous portions. The best food we have had in Florence. Thank you. We had the pesto lasagne (particularly fantastic) and mixed grilled vegetables with bruschetta. Both excellent. Followed by tiramisu. So good we came back on another evening.

We were walking spontaneous from the Boboli gardens, my boyfriend and I decided to walk in for a coffee, but we ended up buying a spritz and Tiramisu. Everything that we had is so good and we would highly recommend this place and the workers are also lovely.

Had to do laundry across the street, you wouldn’t expect the food to be so amazing. Got the chicken sandwich (add mayo) + speck sandwich - everything was fresh and great! Solid service as well. Great vibes and people watching

This was the perfect little spot to have lunch after arriving in Florence. Service is phenomenal, food delish and very fresh. And yes the tiramisu is just as good as the other reviews say it is! Highly recommend.

I have tried both lasagnas (pesto and ragu) and the tiramisu. Everything was incredibly tasty! The prices are super affordable for what they offer. The customer service is also great! I strongly recommend this place.

This was one of our favorite places for lunch in Florence. The food was fresh and good portions; my wife got a salad which was fresh and colorful and I got the lasagna, it was delicious. The staff was welcoming and kind. We sat at the bar and were amazed at how each plate that came out of the kitchen looked so good.

We had leftovers that we lost along our day stroll, and that felt like a big loss because the food was so amazing. We had 2 different kind of Lasagna (homemade, and best I have had till now!!), one Tiramisu (homemade too) and took a drink. After travelling through Garda, Verona, Bologna, and Florence, PITTI EXPRESS stood out as the ultimate breakfast and brunch spot in all of Italy. It was the only place that truly delivered a delicious, well-balanced meal using high-quality ingredients—without pushing pork-based options. Whether you’re into chicken, turkey, veggies, or just crave freshly baked bread, this place has it all.
Everywhere else we tried fell short, with disappointing standards. But here, the care and effort the two brothers put into every detail really shows. It was a breath of fresh air.

Such a calming beautiful atmosphere. Felt welcome, respected and two and a half hours of surprises for each plate! Each dish was like a piece of art 🥰 Totally recommended to foodies out there that enjoy savoring good quality food!
